Graptopetalum Rcococo forms a loose, open rosette that is anything but symmetrical. The defining feature is its highly undulated, ruffled, and curled leaves that give the plant a sense of dynamic, sculptural movement, much like a frilly, living flower. The leaves are the star of the show. They are spatula-shaped but dramatically crinkled and wavy along all their edges. They are not flat or smooth; each leaf is unique, twisting and curling in unpredictable ways, creating a full, lavish appearance. When exposed to bright sunlight and cooler temperatures, the tips and ruffled edges of the leaves can blush with shades of apricot, soft pink, creamy yellow, and sometimes a faint blue-green. The overall effect is a beautiful, watercolor-like blend of pastel hues.
