Graptopetalum Cheese Cake forms a loose to moderately tight, open rosette. It has a graceful, spreading form that is less rigid than some Echeverias. The leaves are spatula-shaped, broad at the base and tapering to a delicate point. They are fleshy but have a refined, delicate look. The underlying color is a pale, lavender-grey or a soft blue-green. When exposed to bright light, the leaves develop beautiful washes of color. The most common are soft lavender, creamy pink, and dusty violet. The overall effect is a watercolor-like blend that resembles the swirled, creamy filling of a cheesecake.
