Echeveria Strawberry Jam forms a dense, upright rosette that can become quite large and sculptural. The leaves tend to grow upwards, giving the plant a compact, cup-like form rather than a flat rosette. The leaves are thick, fleshy, and spatula-shaped, with a broad base that tapers to a pointed tip. They are substantial and can have a slight downward curve, adding to the plant's full, robust look. The inner, newer leaves are typically a fresh, light green or yellow-green color, reminiscent of a fresh strawberry's hull. When exposed to bright, direct sunlight, the plant undergoes a stunning transformation. The outer leaves and the tips of all leaves develop a deep, rich, reddish-pink or crimson color. The intensity can vary, sometimes appearing as a true strawberry red or deepening to a jam-like magenta.
