Echeveria Orange forms a stout, tightly packed rosette. The structure is symmetrical and substantial, with leaves that grow upright and close together, giving it a solid, chunky appearance. The leaves are notably thick, wide, and spoon-shaped. They are very fleshy and can have a slight upward cupping, which helps give the rosette its full, voluminous look. The inner, newer leaves are often a lime green or yellow-green color. When exposed to intense, direct sunlight, the plant undergoes a spectacular transformation. The green tones are completely overwhelmed by vibrant shades of orange, tangerine, and apricot. In ideal conditions, the entire rosette can become a solid, glowing orb of orange, sometimes with the leaf margins turning a deeper, reddish-orange, creating a subtle gradient effect.
